
The Monet of Latte Art
Latte art has become a very popular way for gourmet coffee shops to distinguish themselves from the Dunkin Donuts or McDonalds coffee offerings that have sprung up on every street corner and highway off ramp. It’s also a great way for aspiring home baristas to practice their craft.
But Mason Salisbury, who goes by “ibrewcoffee” on Instagram has elevated the art form to an entirely new level. Instead of the standard latte art, Mason uses food dye to add an amazing array of colours to the latte’s he crafts. The first time I saw one of his creations I was a bit stunned – it’s so different from anything I had seen before I couldn’t look away.
